Premarital Counseling and Education Programs

Research has shown that couples who participate in premarital education have more realistic expectations, handle conflict better and have improved communication skills.  This workshop will introduce each couple to a number of useful tools and skills to help strengthen their marriage.

Pastoral Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Doyle R. Hamilton has been with the Care and Counseling Center of Georgia since 2003 and the Verdery Center from 1988-2002. He is a Certified Pastoral Counselor (Fellow) in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He has extensive experience working with couples and leading workshops.

Please note that classes are limited to 13 couples.  Classes for which there are 5 or fewer couples registered will be rescheduled.  It is essential that couples register early (minimum of 7 days in advance) to reserve your place in the workshop. Registration information and dates of the workshops can be found in the brochure above.
