Gwinnett Hospital System is a not-for-profit 500-bed hospital network serving Gwinnett County Georgia and surrounding area. With over 4,200 employees and 800 physicians, GMC provides care to over 400,000 patients annually. Facilities served by chaplains are: Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, a 250+ bed Level II trauma center and a Women’s Pavilion providing maternity, education, and diagnostic services to women of all ages, as well as newborn intensive care; Gwinnett Medical Center in Duluth, where a 81-bed hospital opened in 2006; Glancy Rehabilitation Center, a 30 bed physical rehabilitation center; and Summit Ridge Center for Behavioral Health which has 70 beds, including adult and adolescent inpatient units, and outpatient services for adults and adolescents; and Gwinnett Extended Care Center, an 89 bed sub-acute and long term care facility.
