2nd Shift Receptionist
JOB DESCRIPTION
Hospitality
- Greets and welcomes all employees, students, and visitors warmly
- Act as hospitality coordinator for certain groups as directed by supervisor
- Keeps coffee areas stocked with fresh coffee and supplies
- Directs people to appropriate waiting areas or conference rooms
- Politely turns away all solicitors
Phone
- Answers phone politely and with a sense of patience and a desire to be helpful
- Manages phone calls while also acknowledging visitors to front desk in a polite way
- Routes all phone calls to the appropriate party
Front Desk Service
- Receives payments for sessions, tuition, and all other payments
- Runs credit cards and keeps track of all credit card deposits
Security of building
- Opens building in the morning (Saturdays) including turning off alarm and unlocking front door
- Opens common rooms
- Turns on lights
- Closes buildings in evenings and afternoon (Saturdays) including setting the alarm and locking the front door
- Makes sure all doors are locked and all lights are off
Other Support
- Administrative and clerical support of management and leadership with prior approval from supervisor
Hours
- Monday through Thursday, 4:30 – 8:30 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Supervisor/Manager
- This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operation Officer and will coordinate with the daytime receptionist.
Qualifications
- Skills: computer proficiency, customer service, interpersonal, communication-oral, communication-written
Compensation
- Hourly rate of $8-10/hour
- This job may be job-shared between two individuals
