2nd Shift Receptionist
JOB DESCRIPTION

Hospitality

  • Greets and welcomes all employees, students, and visitors warmly
  • Act as hospitality coordinator for certain groups as directed by supervisor
  • Keeps coffee areas stocked with fresh coffee and supplies
  • Directs people to appropriate waiting areas or conference rooms
  • Politely turns away all solicitors

Phone

  • Answers phone politely and with a sense of patience and a desire to be helpful
  • Manages phone calls while also acknowledging visitors to front desk in a polite way
  • Routes all phone calls to the appropriate party

Front Desk Service

  • Receives payments for sessions, tuition, and all other payments
  • Runs credit cards and keeps track of all credit card deposits

Security of building

  • Opens building in the morning (Saturdays) including turning off alarm and unlocking front door
  • Opens common rooms
  • Turns on lights
  • Closes buildings in evenings and afternoon (Saturdays) including setting the alarm and locking the front door
  • Makes sure all doors are locked and all lights are off

Other Support

  • Administrative and clerical support of management and leadership with prior approval from supervisor

Hours

  • Monday through Thursday, 4:30 – 8:30 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Supervisor/Manager

  • This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operation Officer and will coordinate with the daytime receptionist.

Qualifications

  • Skills: computer proficiency, customer service, interpersonal, communication-oral, communication-written

Compensation

  • Hourly rate of $8-10/hour
  • This job may be job-shared between two individuals
